Raiders News · Football: North rolls in Home Opener, throttles Alcovy

The North Forsyth Raiders blew out the Alcovy Tigers, 35-3, on Friday in front of a raucous yet socially-distanced crowd in Raider Valley on Friday night.  Captains Brady Meitz and Jared Lucero led the way on offense as Meitz threw for 130 yards and a touchdown, and Lucero added 87 tough, punishing yards on the ground.  Austin Colon was Meitz’s favorite target, racking up 99 yards through the air.

Chris Herock had four sacks on the night including a series of three straight to help close out the game.

The Raiders’ next game is this Friday night at home against the defending AAAAAA State Champion Harrison Hoyas.  Stay tuned this week for more information on tickets.
