The North Forsyth Raiders Freshman snatched the lead late in the game in a 3-2 victory over Milton on Tuesday. The game was tied at two with North batting in the top of the 10th when Josh Zirlott singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. The pitching was strong on both sides. North pitchers struck out 12, while Milton pitchers sat down ten.

Milton got on the board in the first inning. In the top of the sixth inning, the Raiders tied things up at two. Zirlott grounded out, scoring one run. Nolan Wood was on the mound for the Raiders. He allowed four hits and two runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out eight and walking one.

The Raiders tallied ten hits on the day. Michail Harris and Zirlott each collected multiple hits for North Forsyth Raiders Freshman. Zirlott and Harris each collected three hits to lead North Forsyth Raiders Freshman. Trystan Davis led North Forsyth Raiders Freshman with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases.

The Raiders play again in another region match-up on Thursday vs. Lambert at Raider Field.
