The North Forsyth Raiders Freshman fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 10-1 loss to Alpharetta on Wednesday. Alpharetta scored on a triple by Anderson, a single by Camps, and a single by Bell in the first inning.

The Raiders struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Alpharetta, giving up ten runs. Alpharetta got things started in the first inning when Anderson tripled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run. Alpharetta scored four runs in the third inning. Hardy, Lassiat, and Janda powered the big inning with RBIs. #2 led things off on the hill for Alpharetta. He surrendered one run on two hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out ten.

Malachi Preston toed the rubber for North. He surrendered eight runs on six hits over two innings, striking out two. JT Pruitt threw three innings in relief. Trystan Davis and Josh Zirlott each collected one hit to lead the Raiders.

The Raiders have another double header on Saturday against region opponents Denmark & West Forsyth at Denmark. The Denmark game starts at 1:00 and the West Forsyth game starts at 3:30.
