Errors & strikeouts cost Raiders in region match-up with Milton.
The Raiders struggled defensively on Thursday night committing 8 errors, which forced starter Champ Bryant out of the game after 4 innings. The game was close for the first 3 innings, but Milton exploded for 4 runs in the top of the 4th. Nolan Wood entered in relief and pitched 3 shutout innings.
North also struggled at the plate with 15 strikeouts. The lone bright spot in the lineup was an RBI double by Nate Prewett in the bottom of the 6th.
The Raiders play again on Saturday at home vs. Buford starting a 12:00 pm. This is rematch from earlier in the season in which North won 7-0 at Buford.
