Alex Gonzalez qualified for A final in the 100 backstroke and shattered his own previous school record (52.06) with a time of 50.69. He also qualified for B final in the 200 free. Hunter Galbraith qualified for C final in the 50 free and swam a time of 21.92 narrowly missing the school record (21.89). Logan Cornelison joined Hunter in the C final of the 50 free as well as qualifying for the C final in the 100 free. Will Riley joined Gonzalez, Galbraith, and Cornelison on the 200 medley and 200 free relays that both qualified for B finals. The boys 200 medley relay also broke the school record earlier this year at the Forsyth County Championships. Ending prelims on Friday for the boys was senior Connor Ramey, who anchored the boys 400 free relay and earned a personal best time in the final swim of his career.
