The Raiders & Lady Raiders both finished in 3rd place out of 8 teams at the Wolverine Winter Classic. The Lady Raiders won both the 200 medley & 400 freestyle relays. While the Raiders won the 200 medley relay and finished a close 2nd in the 200 freestyle relay. Both relays lowered the state qualifying times.

Logan Cornelison led the way for the Raiders with wins in the 50 free & 100 free. He also re-broke his school record in the 50 free from earlier this season. Alex Gonzalez also contributed big points with a 2nd place finish in the 200 free and a 3rd place finish in the 500 free. Owen Brubaker also added another state cut to his list in the 100 freestyle.

Hailey Galbraith once again led the Lady Raiders with wins in the 50 free & 100 butterfly. While freshman Abigail Hutcheson finished 3rd in the 50 free and won the 100 freestyle. She was able to lower her state entry times in both events.

The Raiders will have their final tune up meet before the Forsyth County Championship on Saturday when they take on Forsyth Central & Denmark in a tri-meet at the Cumming Aquatic Center. The meet starts at 5:00 pm.
