11 Qualify for State at Wrestling Sectionals

The North Forsyth Wrestling Team qualified 11 wrestlers for the state individual tournament in Macon this weekend, including two first-place finishers, Paul Watkins and Connor Cross. Raider Wrestling Finishes Third at State Duals

Congratulations to the Raider Wrestling team on their 3rd place finish at the Class 7A State Duals in Macon over the weekend.  The Raiders defeated Meadowcreek 70-6 and Collins Hill 39-26 before falling to Archer 33-26 in the semifinals.  The team rallied back on Saturday defeating Brookwood 45-27 to set up a thrilling 35-34 victory

Wrestling Team Wins Region, Now Moves On To State

Congratulations to the Raider Wrestling team on winning their 6th consecutive Region Dual Championship last night at Forsyth Central.  The Raiders defeated Central 50-18 in the semifinals and the beat South Forsyth 47-26 in the Finals.  The Raiders will now wrestle in the State Tournament beginning tomorrow, with a first round match against Meadowcreek.

The Region 5-AAAAAAA Wrestling Tournament, twice postponed, will begin today at 2:30 at Forsyth Central High School.  Good luck to our Raider Wrestling Team!
